SUP the River Sunday

July 8, 2018

Join us for a gorgeous long paddle on the St. Croix River, a National Scenic Riverway that runs between Minnesota and Wisconsin. It provides a refuge and hatchery for all types of wildlife and birds. This section of river is void of large boats and provides a wonderful paddle experience. We will launch early Sunday mornings for an extended paddle during the quietest time of day. Our launch is William O'Brien State Park in Marine on St. Croix. Our paddle will leave and return to William O'Brien so plan to park your car in the lot by the boat ramp. We will provide all necessary equipment and light snacks but come prepared for a long outing by dressing in layers and bringing plenty of fluids. There are bungees in the front of the boards to tie down extra gear. A wonderful opportunity to get extra endurance SUP session in with a group of enthusiastic paddlers.
*NEW^ This paddle is offered to confident paddlers with experience and the ability to paddle at least 2 hours at a comfortable pace. We will be paddling with the current and against the current. IF you are a beginner, you will need to take a SUP Lesson prior to signing up to ensure your safety on the river. We cannot provide beginner lessons at this launch!
