July 10, 2020This 2 hour class allows plenty of time to cover all the basic paddle skills needed to be an informed proficient paddler. We cover safety, equipment, weather, paddle technique, turns, stops and maneuvering on the board.

July 11, 2020We are offering a group lesson for those new to SUP and those wanting to hone their SUP skills. Taught by a certified instructor, this group class will demonstrate the proper use of the board and paddle, introduce you to equipment, safety, basic paddle techniques, stopping, turning, and have you standing and maneuvering your board in confidence. No experience necessary, open to all fitness levels and ages 12 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the lesson. All participants must know how to swim.

July 19, 2020We are hosting a 2 day SUP Whitewater Beginner Workshop with ACA Certified Whitewater Instructor Jared Munch. A fun local opportunity to learn SUP whitewater fundamentals offered Sunday Jul 19 & Aug 9 9am-4pm. Learn equipment, paddle strokes, turns, eddy entries, peeling out, reading water lines and whitewater safety. All equipment will be provided including board, paddle, helmet, leash, pfd, and knee pads. All you need to bring is a packed lunch, water and snacks. Space is very limited due. Location will be determined closer to launch date but plan on the Duluth area.
*Must be comfortable and proficient navigating a SUP or have good crossover whitewater sports knowledge. Not for Beginners or those new to paddling.
Jared will be donating 10% of proceeds to The Neighborhood Youth Service a free after school program that provides drop-in prevention and enrichment programs for school-aged youth. Programming includes academic support, recreational activities and free healthy snacks and meals.
